After DeCia's birthday party, I came to a realization. This causes a film The Beauty & The Beast to be one of my favorites.

There's this girl JlL that came to the party and left. The crowd thought that I scare her off based on first impression. Not that I care, but I brought the thought to bed and here's what comes.

The Beauty is the beauty not just because she is beautiful on the outside. She is beautiful on the inside. She gives the Beast a chance by understand him, leaving behind what thoughts others have implanted into her or her own first impressions.

Beast is actually a broken hearted and romantic being.

The Beauty mends his heart by understanding him and the Beast is whole again.





I try give people second chances. And I dare say, everyone deserve this chance.

Friend and His/Her Partner

I am generally sadden today. Someone I highly regarded as a good friend may not longer be of the same person as his partner has to control him. It's also sad to see that all his phones, online accounts and his friendship with others are controlled by her too.

Since her, I hardly had guys' kopi hangout with him.

I received a very rude email from her during lunch. She accuses me of things I am not and removes my friend from me.

What the hell?

What sparked the matter was stupid and it has past us since it was so long ago.

I shouldn't pursue this matter since the other friends all agree, we tried to help, but she is just too rude about it. Like the rest, I am going to apologize and forget this "imprisoned by love" friend.

All these are my point of view and I shouldn't judge anymore as that relationship is solely between him and her. I may be wrong about it.

And this love must be a bliss for him, so I shall step aside.

I still wish him all the best with his love and life. (edited, thanks for bring this up about the pun) And his brother too, I hope he is recovering well from his sickness.

Words of a Wise Man

I was recalling my days as a lifeguard. There's this security guard I always speak to. I call him PeM.

At the age of sixty plus, I asked him how would he like to retire. He said that he would rather work till the day he dies. I was pretty surprised. Wouldn't he want to travel and see the world?

"What's after that?" he asked.

I told him that he can stay home and work on his hobbies or whatever he likes to do. PeM counts it as equal as waiting for death or waiting to be sick and die.

That surprised me also.

He explains thus, that a person is the most desperate and depressed is when he is sick and unable to do anything. He should be able bodied and work like the rest of the world.

What he said, changed me.

In The End...

After three and a half months, the 120 page screenplay is completed.

It focuses on two characters. One being Yan from The Moment returns in this story. The other being Wen, a fugitive on the run after committing a murder in the quiet Hong Kong Street.

I have spent too much time in front of my computer writing. I am getting fat. I should get some exercise.

My next screenplay will be inspired by this:

Working the "hard life" theme, this story has no working title yet. But yes, it's Crime again. I can't wait to start writing.

For those who love Lost or 24, and for those who don't play video games but love the movies, please read anyway.

Just for fun, let's watch the opening for the "DVD Box set" Alone in the Dark first:


For a long time video games tell stories in cinematic ways. i.e. The three act structure, the dynamic camera angles, character driven, etc, etc.

The best example is Metal Gear Solid, Gears of War and Resident Evil. Silent Hill even.

As of today, I have a new love: Alone in the Dark.

For those who love Lost, you will definitely love Alone in the Dark.

It does not just have the cinematic story telling anymore. Instead, it follows television series format. For example: When you start playing, you play by episodes. Once completed, you will play the next one, starting if a recap of the last episode with a little preview of what you will see in this one.

Also, the opening theme plays.

Of course the players can choose to skip it.

Also, players can choose their "DVD" episode. This means that they can skip episodes in case they are unable to survive that stage. The developers have considered about cheating and in order to get to the finale, play everything first.

It is a sign that television is back and has evolved and is influencing the way we tell stories.

Again, for those who don't play video games but love the movies, I strongly urge you to watch this:

I froze.

For a while, I actually have to think of what a normal person would do next.

See, to them, the whole story is not complete and I am the only one who carry the burden in my heart.







To their ignorance, I hate them. They can believe whatever they want. For screwing me over so that they can exercise their emotions make them forget that I am human too.

I apologize for causing a scare from the previous post.

I am still considering the ultimatum. But I'm leaving it to Him for I have asked.

We'll just have to wait and see if the struggle should continue.

Broken, Shattered and Nothing

I have forsaken human love, work opportunities, and personal time.

I have no assurance that things are going to work out. I have little support. I have too many burdens to bear.

If this fails, I'm left with nothing.

Ten days into the new year and I'm already hating it. I asked myself today, how many times do I have to make mistakes in one single project of my own? How many fucking times?!








Upon utter depression, I have put this into consideration: Maybe the only way to stop making the mistakes, is to quit.
