"The inevitable knives have come out for the entertainment industry's
role in this horrible ordeal. 'Oldboy' Chan Wook Park's 2003 revenge film has
been cited as probable inspiration for that asswipe's senseless slaughter of thirty-two innocent souls...and it just doesn't ride. There are sick, deviantly, deeply disturbed f*cking people roaming this rock and movies HAVE never been and WILL never be a mitigating factor in extreme acts of hatred and violence. The demons that whispered to that pathetic piece of shit were working the wheel and grinding the gears long before 'Oldboy' ever appeared on the 'New Releases' rack.
Don't blame anybody but that lunatic and whatever lack of proper parenting contributed to his condition:
PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR KIDS. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR UPBRINGING. TRY TO FOSTER DECENT, LOVING, RESPECTFUL CHILDREN."
So here's my say, "It would have happened anyway, with or without Oldboy. I don't like the fact, but it would have happened. Anyway."
