Femme Fatale inspired...

"Serene" is a film noir about a girl looking for her father. I have several tracks I listen to on youtube while I write. One of which includes this:

The track is pretty haunting, so I "wiki" it. I didn't know that it's sampled!

How cool is that?

Covers

Wow.

The Billie Jean cover actually inspired me to write Serene (Harsh City), a film noir that hopefully I can begin shoot within two years, low budget, self funded style.

On A Madonna Row

I'm on loop on her music recently. Her music helps me write the film noir, so you can imagine what kind of direction is the film noir might be heading to.

Here's an MTV that I am on the fence on:

What do you think? Good? I'm not referring to the song but the MTV.

What say you guys?

In Each Hand a Cutlass

I spoke with the lead yesterday, Dan from In Each Hand a Cutlass. During one of their sound check sessions, I was blown away by the music they make.

I really wish I can work with them in the future.

They would be performing at Baybeats 2009 tomorrow at 7pm.

Poker Face like you never heard

To think that I almost dismissed her as a Britney Spears clone. Lady Gaga got TALENT!

Cynthia Harrell

I already love the theme. Now a lounge version which I read that will only be available if one completes Metal Gear Solid 3 in extreme difficulty. I'm good, but this difficulty is too hard for me.

so, embedded is the track, which now I am so addicted to.

It's James Bond like, and more lounge. So chill out.

My Ears In Love

Just discovered them through Lush 99.5:

Jericho - Weekend Players

Taking a Break

Enough of the horror project for today. I shall revisit my love story with an old heartbreak.

I like to know who shot this. I like to make it a reference.

Why didn't I think of that?

Bruises

Just discovered them and I like this track.

If I have time, I may even write a new love story with this song playing.

Time for an uplifting and happy film...

If I got time to write in the first place.

The Lesser of Two Evils

I made a difficult choice today. I stayed home to study for the upcoming exam rather than to head out and watch the Dollars Trilogy.

I am feeling pain over the choice I made.

The Shootout Score

It's him!

The Guy behind the Score while People Shoot Each Other.

M.I.A.

I'm addicted to all remixes of Paper Plane!

A lot better than Ong Bak

Just what I think. I have been searching for the music from this trailer and it's killing me that I can't find it.

An Untitled Semi Biographical Love Story

I'm real excited!

I have written an outline of a short love story that hopefully can be shot next year. My second love story since Shut In!

I wrote it listening to this,
The Hill, Marketa Irglova

And this,
In a Manner of Speaking, Nouvelle Vague

My first official break out of Crime.

I aim for the first draft to be done next month, then a script read follows. Currently no title.

Read from a book.

Rejection, get used to it. And it's not Death. Just one step closer to Success somewhere else.

Part Daft, Part Chemical

I'm no fan of Justin Lin yet, but thanks to the marketers or editors of Fast & Furious, I'm a new fan of the group Does It Offend You, Yeah?

This is We Are Rockstars

I have been Youtubing their videos.

Kanye Hands

You guys remember Daft Hands? Here's a recap:

Well, this is not exactly the same internet meme of one take, but it's still pretty cool:
